Reclining cinema seating has revolutionized theater janitorial needs. Together with VIP Cinema Seating and our clients, RU Theatre has developed a program to fully clean inside and underneath existing recliners, including clearing mechanisms of trapped popcorn and candy to extend the useful life of these chairs. Since 2017, we have found these quarterly-biannual cleanings minimize pests and odors and ensures chairs remain operational longer than chairs that do not receive scheduled maintenance.
During these cleanings, our crews check each seat and compile repair lists as needed.
